For today’s post we have the pleasure of featuring one of our Super Working Mums: Sarah Teibo. Sarah is a wife and mum of 2 beautiful girls.

She lives a blended life working a 9-5 job, a business and records gospel songs and does live shows. Talk about the life of a Super Working Mum!

Let’s get to know Sarah more and how she manages to stay on top of everything.

Hi Sarah tell us a bit about you and your family?

I’m married with 2 young daughters and live in London.

What do you do for a living?

I’m a certified accountant turned project manager. I also run a business – Sáfójò- that specialises in wind proof umbrellas with African designs. On top of this, I’m a U.K. Gospel artist with my debut album ‘Walk With Me’ recently released.

Tell us one or two big dreams God gave you that you are manifesting

I come from a very humble background and I’ve always wanted to inspire women and young people that you can fulfil your potential and follow your dreams regardless of your background and despite life’s challenges.

What is working well in your life, business or career?

I recently released my debut album ‘Walk With Me’ which is available on all digital music platforms and being played on radio stations globally. The reviews and feedback the project has received from listeners and music critics have been extremely positive and encouraging.

Walk with Me can be downloaded from the various outlets

How do you juggle it all? Share up to three of your best tips with us.

Learning to delegate where I can’t do everything. So for instance, whenever I’ve got so much on and my home is starting to look worse for wear, I would get a cleaner in to help with tidying up the house.

Also, I do a lot of forward planning. I make notes in my calendar of up coming tasks and set reminders. This really helps me stay on top of things and ensures I don’t miss any major events or deliverables. With the kids, in some cases, I set out their school clothes for the first two or three days of week on Sunday night to speed up the early morning school prep.

Finally I use a few apps to simplify my life e.g Hootsuite for simultaneous social media posting. I also do grocery and sometimes clothes shopping online. This saves a bucket load of time that could be lost commuting to the shops and walking through isles.
