Earlier on this year I felt led to create a journal for Super Working Mums. So I carried out a survey in May 2015 to understand women’s experience with journaling and to have a feel for those who journal and those who don’t.

Over 140 women responded to the survey. It was interesting to find out that:

  • 52% of those who responded keep a journal while 48% don’t journal due to one reason or the other.
  • Of the 48% who don’t journal, 32% said it was because they didn’t see the benefit or importance while 30% said they didn’t have the time to journal.
  • 49% of responders said they would definitely give journaling a chance if they knew the importance or benefit and 46% would consider journaling.

This made me realise that even though a good percentage of mothers kept a journal, another large group didn’t journal especially as they don’t know anything about it or the benefits. Therefore, I decided to create an ebook educating women on what journaling is and the importance of journaling.

I have experienced a shift and a transformation in my life since I started journaling and I want you to experience this  as well especially if you are overwhelmed or stressed.

I also invited 9 amazing Christian women to share their journaling experiences in the ebook, so you can see how they journal, what they journal about, and how it has helped them. My hope is that after reading their stories, you will be spurred on to start journaling yourself.
